  Notes	Mary E. McKenzie CUMBERLAND - Mary E. McKenzie, 78, of Cumberland, a faithful and loving wife of 58 years and a faithful servant of her Lord, died Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at Sacred Heart Hospital. Born Jan. 1, 1926 in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Daniel J. and Elizabeth E. (Adams) Flynn. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Virgil D. McKenzie Jr. and Michael F. McKenzie. Mrs. McKenzie was a keypunch operator for the Kelly Springfield Tire Company. She was a 1944 graduate of Ursuline Academy; a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Secular Order of St. Francis. She was a member of the Blue Army. Surviving are her husband, Virgil DeSalles McKenzie Sr.; one daughter, Mary Theresa Shade, Martinsburg, W.Va.; six sons, Ira V. McKenzie, Patrick J. McKenzie, John F. McKenzie, Brian C. McKenzie, Kevin J. McKenzie and Mark L. McKenzie; one brother, Michael Flynn, all of Cumberland; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. The Third Order of St. Francis will conduct a Rosary on Friday at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at SS Peter Paul Catholic Church on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. with Father James Kurtz, O.F.M., Cap. as celebrant. Interment will be in SS Peter Paul Cemetery, Cumberland. Pallbearers will be Michael Connelley, Ansel Shircliffe, Clifford Sims and Christopher Thornburg.
