Notes	Frostburg - A great deal of sympathy was heard expressed here last Friday upon receipt of intelligence relative to the death of Mrs. Ellen, wife of Mr. Joshua McKenzie, at her home in Cumberland. Mrs. McKenzie was a resident of Frostburg until about a year ago, when she removed to Cumberland. Deceased was about fifty years of age and leaves a husband and a large family of children to mourn their loss. Mrs. McKenzie was a sister of Mrs. John G. Merrbach and Mrs. George Knoyer, both of this place. Mrs. Jake Powers and Mrs. Patrick Connelly, her daughters, reside here. The funeral will take place in St. Michael's Catholic cemetery at this place, the remains being brought here over the Cumberland and Pennsylvania railroad. Cumberland Evening Times, October 14, 1905. Birth date, age at death, or marriage date is probably wrong. She would have been only 9 or 10 when married. Ray Leidinger suggests that she was born c. 1849.
