    Cumberland, MD - Terri “TT” Darlene (Layman) Nelson, 54, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Monday, December 14, 2015, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Born June 7, 1961, in Cumberland, MD, Mrs. Nelson was the daughter of the late Gary J. Layman and Jeanette (Jenkins) Layman. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Mike Nelson; a brother: Richard J. Layman; and a sister: Kimberly R. Layman. A graduate of Fort Hill High School, Class of 1979, Terri was formerly employed at Hagenbuch's Restaurant and Schwab's. She loved spending time in North Carolina with her sister, Janice. Terri's greatest joy was her grandchildren and she loved watching her grandsons play baseball and enjoyed weekend cookouts. She was a fan of NASCAR driver, Tony Stewart, the Carolina Panthers, and the Baltimore Orioles. Terri is survived by her children: Sarah (Layman) Pensyl and husband, Dale, Jr., Hyndman, PA; Tyler Nelson, Hyndman, PA; Danielle (Nelson) Harper and husband, Mike, Ridgeley, WV; and Mercedes Nelson, Hyndman, PA. She also leaves behind her sisters: Janice Stein and husband, Dave, Fayetteville, NC; and Tracy L. Summers and husband, Scott, Oldtown, MD; and her in-laws: Patty and Frank DuVall of Ohio. Terri is also survived by her grandchildren: David, Gage, Drake, Cheyenne, Danica, Daulton, Liam, and Kaylynn; as well as many nieces, nephews, and special friends, The Hagenbuch Family. Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Friday, December 18, 2015, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, December 18, 2015, at 7:00 P.M., with Reverend Scott Summers officiating.     CUMBERLAND — Gary “Skip” James Layman, 78, of Cumberland, passed away Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Born Jan. 19, 1932, in Cumberland, Mr. Layman was the son of the late Owen Alvin Layman and Edith Golden (Hager) Layman. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kim Renee Layman; a son, James Richard Layman; three brothers, Walter, Lewis and Owen Layman; a sister, Phyllis Hager; and was the last surviving member of his immediate family. A United States Army/Air Corps veteran having served in Austria during the Korean War, Skip retired from Pittsburgh Plate and Glass after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Henry Hart Post 1411 V.F.W. and the American Legion Post 13. Skip loved spending time at Myrtle Beach, S.C., with his wife, his dogs and his many friends. He never met a person with whom he could not make friends. Skip never met a TV or remote that he did not love. Skip is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Jeanette Lee (Jenkins) Layman; his son, Steven Layman and his wife Rita, Cumberland; his daughters, Janice Stein and her husband David, Fayetteville, N.C., Tracy Summers and her husband Scott, Oldtown, and Terri Nelson, Cumberland; his grandchildren, David, Daniel, Philip Stein; Kristin Robinette and Amanda Layman; Brittney Summers; Sarah, Tyler, Danielle and Sadie Nelson; as well as 12 great-grandchildren; and his beloved canine friends, Coco, Penny and Pooky. Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, Feb. 1, 2010, at 10 a.m. with the Rev.     CUMBERLAND — Jeanette Lee (Jenkins) Layman, 78, of Cumberland, passed away Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011, at Stella Maris, Timonium. Born April 9, 1933, in Cumberland, Mrs. Layman was the daughter of the late LeRoy Richard Jenkins and Sarah Jeanette (Morris) Jenkins. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Gary “Skip” J. Layman, and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Jeanette was formerly employed at Pittsburgh Plate and Glass and S.T. Little Jewelry. She enjoyed visiting her daughter, Janice and her family in North Carolina. Jeanette also enjoyed going to her son, Steve’s house, for the many wonderful barbecues he and his wife would have for everyone. She loved to go to Altoona and Winchester on shopping trips with her daughter, Tracy. One of the things she treasured the most was the long talks she would have with her children. Jeanette also loved her dogs, usually having three or four. They were part of the family. But most of all, she loved being with her husband before his passing, going to Myrtle Beach every year in their RV, and spending time with their friends there. Jeanette is survived by her son, Steven Layman and his wife Rita, of Cumberland; her daughters, Janice Stein and her husband David, of Fayetteville, N.C., Tracy Summers and her husband Scott, of Oldtown, and Terri Nelson, of Cumberland; her grandchildren, David, Daniel, and Philip Stein, Kristin Robinette and Amanda Layman, Brittney Summers, and Sarah, Tyler, Danielle, and Sadie Nelson; as well as twelve great-grandchildren and her beloved canine friends, Penny and Pooky.     Alvin John Lehman, 61, Williams Road, died yesterday in Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient four weeks. A native of Carlos, he was a son of the late Owen A. and Ellen (Bone) Lehman. Mr. Lehman was a retired machinist for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company and was a member of Local 212, International Association of Machinists; Aerie 245. FO Eagles and the Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Delbert Hager, city; four sons, Owen A. and James G. Lehman, both of this city, and Louis J. and Walter T. Lehman, both of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Schafer and Mrs. Martha Chisholm, both of Akron; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The body is at the Silcox Funeral Residence where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p. m. and 7 to 9 p. m. Services will be conducted at the funeral residence Friday, 2 p. m., by Rev.
