Besides his mother, he is survived by his widow, Thelma (Winebrenner) Baker; three sons, Ralph Baker, here; John Baker, Wilmington, Del., and Robert Baker, at home; a daughter, Barbara Baker, at home; four sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Whitehead, Morgantown; Mrs. Samuel Baer, Finzel; Mrs. George Lynch, Eckhart; and Mrs. Goldie Sturtz, Mt. Savage; four brothers, William and Bernard Baker, Wilmington; Richard Baker, Salisbury, Md.; and Ralph Baker, Wellersburg, Pa.; and two grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 7 until 9 p. m. and tomorrow from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p. m. Services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30 p. m. in the funeral home by Rev. Edward E. Kite. Interment will be in the Johnson Cemetery.     JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - Thelma G. Schurg, 81, of Cumberland, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2006, at the Conemaugh Hospital, Johnstown. Born Feb. 5, 1925, in Zihlman, Md., she was the daughter of the late Kenney and Rosella (Winebrenner) Winebrenner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two husbands, Gilbert C. Baker in 1970, and Elmer Schurg in 1991; and one brother, David Winebrenner. Ms. Schurg was a homemaker and was a catholic by faith, she attended St. Michael's Catholic Church, Frostburg. Surviving are three sons, Ralph L. Baker, Frostburg, John G. Baker and wife Suzanne, Chambersburg, Pa., and George R. Baker, Fort Ashby, W.Va.; one daughter, Barbara A. Dyche and husband Edward, Wiley Ford, W.Va.; seven grandchildren, Cindy, Jennifer, Becky, Brian, Linsay, Roberta, and Shannon; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. only.
