    FROSTBURG - Mrs. Clara C. Tomlinson, 58, wife of Cecil L. Tomlinson, Wrights Crossing, died yesterday in Miners Hospital where she was admitted Tuesday. She had been in failing health a year. Mrs. Tomlinson was born in Pekin, a daughter of the late Josiah and Elizabeth (Jackson) Munson. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Survivors include three sons, Donald L. at home; William G., Lawrence, Mass.; Robert O., Fort Devens, Mass.; a daughter, Mrs. John Johnson, Jr., Lonaconing; three brothers, Lester Munson, Pekin; Melvin Munson, Lonaconing, and Virgil Munson, Baltimore; a sister, Miss Daisy Munson, Baltimore, and six grandchildren. The body will be at the Durst Funeral Home today. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home by Rev. E. M. Goetschius. Burial will be in Frostburg Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Paul Whitefield, William Keiling, Fred Wilson, Walter McFarland, John Parker, and Howard Wagner. The Cumberland News, December 21, 1963

    LONACONING - Joshua J. Munson, 84, a resident of Pekin, died yesterday, at Miners Hospital, Frostburg. Born in Hancock, he was a son of the late John and Columbia (Simons) Munson. His wife, Eliza (Jackson) Munson, preceded him in death. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Leroy Tomlinson, Frostburg, and Miss Daisy Munson, Pekin; three sons, Lester Munson, Pekin; Melvin Munson, Lonaconing, and Virgil Munson, Baltimore; one sister, Miss Daisy Munson, Hancock; and three brothers, Jacob, Charles, and John Munson, all of Hancock. The body is at the Eichhorn Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Services will be conducted Friday at 2 p. m. at the funeral home by Rev. Charles Russell and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow. The Cumberland Evening Times, November 7, 1962

    Lonaconing, Sept. 8 - Mrs. Elizabeth (Jackson) Munson, 58, wife of Joshua Munson, died yesterday at 3:15 p.m. at her home in Pekin, following an illness of three weeks. She was a daughter of the late George and Clara Jackson, and a native of Avilton, Md. For the past 54 years she had been a resident of Pekin and was a member of the Pentecostal Church, Lonaconing. Surviving besides her husband are the following children: Mrs. Clara Tomlinson, Wrights Crossing; Lester, Pekin; Melvin, Camp Meade; and Cevil, Virgil and Daisy, at home. One brother, Edward of Pekin, and two sisters, Mrs. William Harper, Knapp Meadow, Mrs. Francis Himmelwright, Cumberland, and six grandchildren also survive.
