Frostburg - John Leonard Clark, 51, 30 Beall Street, died Wednesday night at Miners Hospital where he had been a patient for ten days. A native of Finzel, Clark was the husband of the late Mrs. Agnes (Burdock) Clark. He was employed as a fireclay miner and was a member of Frostburg Lodge 348 LOOM. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. William O. Twigg and Mrs. Francis Malloy, both of Frostburg; one sister, Mrs. Lloyd Klink, Frostburg; three half-sisters, Mrs. Elsie Lotz, Frostburg; Mrs. Nellie Shroyer, Winchester Bridge, and Mrs. Anna Crowe, Baltimore; two brothers, Charles, Barton, and Frank, Jenners, Pa.; two half-brothers, Samuel and Earl Clark, both of Frostburg, and four grandchildren. Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Johnson Methodist Church, with Rev. J. B. Jones, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Frostburg, officiating. The body is at the home of his son Carl, 70 West Mechanic Street. Burial will be in the Johnson Cemetery. The Cumberland Evening Times, December 26, 1952

Frostburg, Md., June 9—Mrs. Agnes Mae Clark, 38, wife of John Clark. Finzel Road, Garrett County, died Sunday at Miners' Hospital two hours after admission. Besides her husband, she leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Burdock and the following children: Mrs. William Twigg, Carl, Sylvia, Ralph and Lawrence Clark, all at home; six sisters, Mrs. Walter Eichhorn, Jr., this city; Mrs. Martin LaRue, Mrs. James Clark, Mrs. Thomas McKenzie, Mrs. Floyd Boyer, and Miss Mary Burdock, and a brother, Marshall Burdock, all of Garrett county. John + Hylie Winebrenner. Hylie (daughter of Isaac Jr. Winebrenner and Margaret Ann Crowe) was born about 1874 in Garrett County, Maryland; died on 30 Dec 1962 in Frostburg, Allegany County, Maryland. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

FROSTBURG - Mrs. Hylie Eisler, 88, died yesterday at Miners Hospital where she was a patient two days. Born in Garrett County, she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Margaret (Crowe) Winebrenner. Her husband, Adam Eisler, preceded her in death. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Berndetta Klink and Mrs. John Lotz, both of here; Mrs. Clifton Caton, Westernport, and Mrs. Anna Crowe, Baltimore; three sons, Frank Hawarth Clark (sic: should be Clark Howarth), Jenners, Pa.; Samuel and Earl Eisler, both of here; 39 grandchildren; 90 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p. m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 2 p. m. by Rev. Kenneth E Morelock. Interment will be in the Johnson Cemetery. The Cumberland Evening Times, December 31, 1962

May 5, 1904 - The funeral of Mrs. Isaac Winebrenner, who died Tuesday (3 May) at her home near Johnson's, a few miles west of Frostburg, after a lingering illness of dropsy, took place this afternoon from the residence. Interment in the cemetery on the Winebrenner farm near Johnson. Mrs. Winebrenner was 66 years old. She is survived by a husband, 6 sons, and one daughter; Messers, Joseph, John, James, Floyd, Samuel and Enoch and Miss Highly, all at home.
