    Notes:

He in 1926. Frostburg, Md., July 14 — A goat belonging to tourists left in the custody of Ralph Crowe, ten year old son of Councilman Frederick Crowe, has caused no little commotion, at the local camp site in the past three weeks. The goat belonging to a group of tourists became troublesome by eating the tents. On leaving they gave the goat to RaIph to watch until they sent word for his "the goat's" release. Ralph was led on a merry chase for ten days. Eating tents, digging up gardens and chasing children, the goat was having the time of his life, when Caretaker John Morgan decided that the time for his fun was at end and Mr. Morgan sold the goat to the first party, when the first party returned it, sold It to another party and finally the goat landed on a Vale Summit farm in the third and final transaction. Last week the original owner of the goat sold it to a man who arrived at the local camp site yesterday morning and asked Ralph for the goat. Ralph related the sales that took place and after tracing the transactions, the new purchaser brought it back to the camp site. Again the goat became troublesome, and last night after chewing the tent flaps of the owner's tent, the animal was then tied securely to a tree for the rest of vhe night and taken to Cumberland early this morning.
