FROSTBURG - Winfield H. Crowe, 82, died yesterday at the Cuppett Nursing Home, Oakland. Born in Garrett County, he was a son of the late Isaac and Mary Ellen (Chaney) Crowe. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Surviving are seven daughters: Mrs. Mary Ada Simpson, Mrs. Matilda Bartlett, and Mrs. Viola Walters, all of Carlos; Mrs. Grace Lamp, Cresaptown; Mrs. Ethe! Mae Condon, Silver Spring; Mrs. Frances Bostjancic of New Jersey, and Miss Olive Crowe, Sykesville, and one brother, Walter Crowe, Cumberland, and 30 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Hafer Funeral Home here, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 9:30 a. m. in St. Michael's Catholic Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. The Cumberland Evening Times, January 16, 1962

6. Olive Alice Crowe was born about 1920 in Carlos, Allegany County, Maryland; died on 4 Dec 1981 in Grantsville, Garrett County, Maryland.
7. Frances Crowe was born on 10 Aug 1924 in Carlos, Allegany County, Maryland; died on 2 May 2007 in Jackson TWP, New Jersey.
