    CUMBERLAND - Victoria Susan Kerr, 35, of Cumberland, died Friday, Aug. 13, 1999 at home. Born in Cumberland on February 27, 1964, she was the daughter of Dorothy L. (Dawson) Kerr, of Cumberland and the late Glenn D. Kerr. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Catherine Ann and Brittaney Nicole Kerr. Mrs. Kerr was a Certified Care Giver for the former New Life Shelter of Cumberland. She was a member of the Centre Street United Methodist Church, and she was a member of the White Oaks Women's Bowling League. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brother, Stephen E. Kerr and wife Sarah of Cumberland; nephew, William Kerr and a niece, Sarah Kerr. She also is survived by her fiancee, Bill Northcraft of Cumberland. Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted there on Tuesday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Lloyd B. McCanna officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Burial Park. Contributions may be made to the Centre Street United Methodist Church or to the Board of Child Care for the United Methodist Church in care of Centre Street United Methodist Church, Cumberland.     Dorothy Louise "Dottie" Kerr, 92, of Cumberland, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016, at her home. Born in Cumberland, on June 13, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Ethel (Nesbitt) and Edward Dawson. Dottie was a graduate of Allegany High School, class of 1942. Following high school, she attended business school. Dottie was employed at the Liberty Trust Company until her retirement. Dottie was a lifetime member of Centre Street United Methodist Church. She attended Bible study on Wednesday mornings at her church. She loved playing cards and visiting the Washington Street Library. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn D. Kerr; one daughter, Victoria S. Kerr; and three grandchildren, Catherine, Brittany, and William Kerr. Dottie is survived by one son, Stephen E. Kerr and wife, Sarah, Cumberland; granddaughter, Sarah Truslow and husband, William, VA; and two great-grandchildren, Lilyana Truslow and William Truslow Jr. Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, Cumberland, on Friday, Oct. 28, 2016. Funeral and committal services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, at 1 p.m. Burial will take place in Maryland State Veterans Cemetery, Rocky Gap.     FROSTBURG — Thomas Kerr, 84, of 80 Mt. Pleasant Street, died yesterday at his home following an illness of nine months. Born at Lonaconing, he was a son of the late Thomas and Jean (Muir) Kerr. Mr. Kerr was a retired miner and was a member of the Frostburg Republican Club and a charter member of the Frostburg Volunteer Fire Company. His wife, Effie (Adkins) Kerr, preceded him in death. Surviving are four sons, Charles, William and John Kerr, all of Frostburg, and Glenn Kerr, Cumberland; a daughter, Mrs. Viola Alexander, Lonaconing; three brothers, William and James Kerr, Frostburg, and Alex Kerr, Homestead, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. Jean Menderson, Phoenix, Ariz., 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The body will be at the Durst Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today. Services will be conducted there Friday at 4 p. m. by Rev. Kenneth E. Morelock and burial will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.     FROSTBURG - Mrs. Effie Kerr, 76, of 80 Mt. Pleasant Street, died this morning in Miners Hospital where she had been a patient a week. She had been in failing health for sometime. The wife of Thomas Kerr and the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Adkins, she was a member of Welsh Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving, besides her husband, are five sons, Charles, William, Jack and Walter, all of Frostburg, and Glen, Cumberland; daughter, Mrs. Viola Alexander, Lonaconing, and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
