MARK ANNIVERSARY - Mr. and Mrs. William Kerr 153 Bowery Street, Frostburg, were honored with a surprise party on their 25th wedding anniversary at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Huffman, 124 East Main street. Mrs. Kerr is the .former Miss Alice Drummond, daughter of the late James and Dora (Dickey) Drummond, Borden Mines. Her husband is the son of the late Thomas Kerr and Effie (Adkins) Kerr, Mt. Pleasant Street. They were married March 20, 1943 in Brigham City, Utah, in the Presbyterian Church there. The Kerrs have a foster son, James, at home. Mrs. Kerr has a son, Staff Sgt. Leland Folk, who is serving with the armed forces in Vietnam. Sgt. Folk's wife and four children are presently residing with the Kerrs.     FROSTBURG — Thomas Kerr, 84, of 80 Mt. Pleasant Street, died yesterday at his home following an illness of nine months. Born at Lonaconing, he was a son of the late Thomas and Jean (Muir) Kerr. Mr. Kerr was a retired miner and was a member of the Frostburg Republican Club and a charter member of the Frostburg Volunteer Fire Company. His wife, Effie (Adkins) Kerr, preceded him in death. Surviving are four sons, Charles, William and John Kerr, all of Frostburg, and Glenn Kerr, Cumberland; a daughter, Mrs. Viola Alexander, Lonaconing; three brothers, William and James Kerr, Frostburg, and Alex Kerr, Homestead, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. Jean Menderson, Phoenix, Ariz., 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The body will be at the Durst Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today. Services will be conducted there Friday at 4 p. m. by Rev. Kenneth E. Morelock and burial will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.     FROSTBURG - Mrs. Effie Kerr, 76, of 80 Mt. Pleasant Street, died this morning in Miners Hospital where she had been a patient a week. She had been in failing health for sometime. The wife of Thomas Kerr and the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Adkins, she was a member of Welsh Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving, besides her husband, are five sons, Charles, William, Jack and Walter, all of Frostburg, and Glen, Cumberland; daughter, Mrs. Viola Alexander, Lonaconing, and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.     FROSTBURG — Services for Mrs. Effie Kerr, 76, of 80 Mt. Pleasant Street, who died yesterday in Miners Hospital, will be conducted at the residence Saturday at 2 p. m. with Rev. Wesley H. Harris, pastor of Welsh Memorial Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
