    Services for James Reese Swaner, 75, of 148 Main Street, Ridgeley, who died yesterday at Memorial Hospital, where he was admitted last Wednesday, will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Hafer Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert L. Greynolds, pastor of Calvary Methodist Church, and the Rev. J. L. Stewart, pastor of the North Cumberland Assembly of God Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest Burial Park. Mr. Swaner was a veteran of the Spanish-American War and military honors will be accorded by the United Spanish American War Veterans, Howard P. Hartsock Camp No. 9, of which he was a member. Mr. Swaner retired 10 years ago after completing 33 years of service with the Western Maryland Railway. He was a native of Keyser, W. Va., and had lived in Ridgeley 21 years. He was a member of Calvary Methodist Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Alice E. (VanMeter) Swaner; sons, James C., Ridgeley; Everett G., this city, and Donald I. Swaner, at home, and a sister, Miss Margaret Swaner, Gaithersburg, Md., and a daughter, Mrs. Elton J. Weakley, at home.
