She died on 17 Jun 2011 at the age of 80 in Solomons, Maryland. SOLOMONS — Shirley Elizabeth Langley, 80, of Solomons, formerly of Cumberland, passed away on June 17, 2011, in Solomons. She was born on Jan. 1, 1931, in Cumberland, to the late John William McKenzie and Mary Teresa Nies. She was the beloved wife to the late Robert Lee Langley, whom she married on Feb. 12, 1949, in Cumberland. Shirley moved to Calvert County from Cumberland in 1949. She was a charter member of the Solomons V.F.D. Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, William T. McKenzie. Shirley is survived by her children, John L. Langley and wife Stephanie of Warrenton, Va., Bobbie L. Herring and husband Edward of Leonardtown, and Kenneth R. Langley Sr. of Solomons; siblings, Milnor C. McKenzie and Helen Gorsuch, both of Cumberland; grandchildren, Kristie L. McCalla and husband Ray, Susan Langley, Breann L. Brown and husband David, Jessica Davidson and husband Gregory, Erin Langley and Kenneth R. Langley Jr.; great-grandchildren, Jadon Patrick Preston and McKenzie Ann Brown. Pallbearers will be Joseph McKenzie, Michael Gorsuch, Doug McKenzie, Marty Sealey, Jay Lankford and Wayne Duley. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray McCalla and David Brown. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 20, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Rausch Funeral Home, P.A., Lusby, where a prayer service will be offered at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at 11 a.m. in Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Solomons, with Father Richard Gardiner officiating. Interment will follow in the Solomons UMC Cemetery, Solomons.     John William McKenzie, 58, of 22 B Street, LaVale, died yesterday in Sacred Heart Hospital where he had been a patient since January 19. He was a son of the late Milnor J. and Frances (Maloney) McKenzie. Mr. McKenzie was employed as a painter for the Celanese Corporation. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society of the church. He is survived by his widow, Mary Teresa (Nies) McKenzie; two sons, Milnor C. McKenzie, LaVale, and William T. McKenzie, Cresaptown; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence W. Gorsuch, LaVale, and Mrs. Robert L. Langley, Solomons, Md.; three brothers, Robert McKenzie, Cresaptown; Frank McKenzie, Cleveland; Daniel McKenzie, Park Heights; two sisters, Mrs. Vincent Miltenberger and Mrs. Frances H. Koontz, both of LaVale, and eight grandchildren. A requiem mass will be celebrated Monday at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church by Rev. Kenan R. Crowley, OFM Cap, assistant pastor of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Burial will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Pallbearers, all co-workers at the Amcelle Plant, will be Leslie M. Wigfield, Lloyd R. Brooks, Edward R. Walker, Morgan S. Hinds, Clyde Harden, and Gladson W. Allamong. The body will be at the residence after 6:30 p.m. today where the Holy Name Society will recite the rosary Sunday at 8 p.m.

    Mrs. Mary Teresa McKenzie, 81, of 519 B Street, LaVale, died last evening in Sacred Heart Hospital. Born in Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Clara (Sell) Nies. Her husband, JohnWilliam "Bill" McKenzie, preceded her in death. Mrs. McKenzie was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Confraternity of the Church Mothers. Surviving are two sons, Milnor C. "Bud" McKenzie, with whom she resided, and William T. McKenzie, Hagerstown; two daughters, Mrs. Helen K. Gorsuch, LaVale; Mrs. Shirley E. Langley, Solomans, Md.; one brother, William B. Nies, Cumberland; three sisters, Mrs. Murvel Kauffman, Mrs. Max Forbes, both of Cumberland; Mrs. Ann Zilman, Washington, D.C.; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Silcox-Merritt Funeral Residence today and tomorrow. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Interment will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. The rosary will be recited tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers, all grandsons, will be John L. Langley, Raymond L.     Milnor J. McKenzie, 89, of 513 B Street, LaVale, died yesterday in Sacred Heart Hospital, where he had been a patient four weeks. A native of Cumberland, he was a son of the late John and Elizabeth (Atkins) McKenzie and was the husband of the late Frances M. (Maloney) McKenzie. Mr. McKenzie was a retired street car repairman for the Potomac Edison Company. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society and the Potomac Edison Quarter Century Club. Surviving are three sons, Robert M. McKenzie, Cresaptown; George F. McKenzie, Buena Park, Calif.; and Daniel P. McKenzie Sr., LaVale; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret E. Miltenberger, LaVale; and Mrs. Catherine H. Koontz, with whom he resided; 19 grandchildren and 49 great-grand children. The body is at the Stein Funeral Home where friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A requiem mass will be celebrated Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church and burial will be in the parish cemetery.     Mrs. Frances M. McKenzie, 69, wife of Milnor J. McKenzie, 132 Hanover street, died suddenly in Allegany Hospital last night. She became ill at 2 a.m. yesterday and was admitted to the hospital seven hours later. A native of Romney, W. Va., Mrs. McKenzie was a daughter of the late W. H. and Margaret Maloney. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Surviving besides her husband are four sons, Robert M., G. Frank, J. William, and Daniel P. McKenzie, all of Cumberland; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Miltenberger and Mrs. Catherine Koontz, of Cumberland; two brothers, J. Robert Maloney, Cumberland, D. Hopkins Maloney, Terra Alta, W.
