On Sunday evening, Mr. Jeremiah McKenzie, an old hunter and trapper, died from the effects of paralysis at his son's home in South Cumberland. From the research of Ray Leidinger, January, 2019 in a letter to Michael Mckenzie:
Sarah's father Joshua is my great-grandfather. Sarah is the sister of my great-grandfather, George McKenzie (1814-1872)
When Sarah died, she was buried in her brother's ((Enoch McKenzie) (c. 1833-1894) cemetery lot in St. patrick's Cemetery, Cumberland. Enoch purchased that lot on the day Sarah died. There are no stones on the lot, but church cemetery records show the lot is full. Jerome is not buried on the lot. During this period, McKenzies married cousins, so it that is so in this case, it would not be a surprise.
