    Gerald E. "Jake" Skelley, 52, of McMullen Highway, Cresaptown, died Wednesday in Sacred Heart Hospital. Born at Cresaptown, he was a son of the late William M. Skelley and the late Mary F. (Grant) Skelley Liller. A member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Mr. Skelley was employed as a construction operating engineer. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 37, the Loyal Order of Moose 271, and fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2883. Surviving are his widow, Jean F. (Harmison) Skelley; his stepfather, Chelsie A. Liller, Cresaptown; two daughters, Mrs. Jerilyn M. Smith of Romney and Miss Kerry F. Skelley, at home; one son, Michael E. Skelley, Cresaptown; two sisters, Mrs. Erma M. Neuner, Plant City, Fla., and Mrs. Phyllis L. Densock, Potomac Park; two half-sisters, Mrs. Colleen Ginniman of Barton and Mrs. Carolyn Faye Fisher of Millerdale, Ridgeley; two brothers, William M. Skelley Jr. of Cumberland, and Harold F. Skelley of Thayer, Mo., and four grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p m. today at the George Funeral Home. A Christian wake service will be conducted today at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated tomorrow at 10 as.m. in St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Ambrose Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Skelley, Boyd K. Powell Sr., Bradley J. Densock, Terry M. Skelley, David Detrick and Harry Skelly.     Mrs. Mary Frances Liller, 61, wife of Chelsie A. Liller, Graddock Drive, Cresaptown, died yesterday at Miners Hospital, Frostburg, where she was admitted December 21. She had been in failing health the past several months. Bornnin Cresaptown September 7, 1903, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Carrie (Winters) Grant. Mrs. Liller formerly operated the Greene Street Tea Room. Besides her husband, she is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Grace Parker, Baltimore; Mrs. Regina Toohey, Green Belt; Mrs. Erma Genevie, Temple Terrace, Fla.; Mrs. Phyllis Dunsock (Sic: Densock), Mrs. Coleen Ginniman, Potomac Park; and Mrs. Faye Fisher, Ridgeley; three sons, William Skelley, city; Gerald Skelley, Cresaptown; and Harold Skelley, Thayer, Mo.; three brothers, Charles Grant, Frostburg; Roy Grant, Lebanon, Pa.; Marshall Grant, Rawlings; three sisters, Mrs. Lena Robinette, Cresaptown; Mrs. Ethel Parker, Fairgo; and Mrs. Lillian Beck, Lebanon; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.     Mrs. Carrie Virginia Grant, 88, native of Cresaptown, died today at Sacred Heart Hospital. She resided in Fairgo with a daughter, Mrs. Isaac Parker. Mrs. Grant was a daughter of the late John and Harriet (Sigler) Winters. She was a member of the Cresaptown Assembly of God Church. She is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. Sanford Robinette, and Mrs. Chelsie Liller, both of Cresaptown, and Mrs. Lester Beck, Lebanon, Fa.; four sons, Leonard and Ray Grant, both of Lebanon, Pa.; Charles Grant, Cresaptown; and Marshall Grant, Brunswick; 40 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great-grandchildren. The body will remain at the Hafer Funeral Home, where services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p. m., with Rev. Ira Moore, pastor of the Cresaptown Assembly of God Church, officiating. Interment will be in Eckhart Cemetery.
