FROSTBURG — Mrs. Laura Fadeley, 80, wife of John Fadeley, died today at the home of her son, Melvin Fadeley, near Finzel. Besides her second husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Henry Rosenberger, Meyersdale, Pa.; Mrs. Susan Caton, Big Savage; two other sons, Ira Caton, Baltimore, and Earl Caton, Finzel, and two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Garlitz and Mrs. Phoebe Ward, Baltimore. The body is at the Fadeley home. The Cumberland Evening Times, February 9, 1949

Charles Albright, retired farmer residing on Route 2, Frostburg, Md., died at his home on Thursday, July 25, at about noon of chronic myocarditis. Mr. Albright retired about 10 years ago, and several years ago became totally blind. He lived all his life in the same vicinity. He was born October 18, 1872, son of Solomon and Catherine (Garlitz) Albright, and was aged 73 years, 10 months and 7 days. He is survived by his wife, Alice (Caton) Albright; one son, Simon Albright; one daughter, Mrs. Nannie Caton, and one brother, Daniel Albright of Garrett. Funeral services were conducted in the Hostetler Church of the Brethren on Sunday, July 28 at 2:00 p.m. with the pastor, Rev. J. Ewing Jones, officiating. Interment in the Church cemetery in charge of Mortician Stanley M. Thomas. Meyersdale Republican, August 1, 1946
