Charles C SHRIVER (son of Albert W. SHRIVER and Katherine EISEL) was born about 1905 in Frostburg, Allegany Co., Maryland. He died on 15 Aug 1976 in Frostburg, Allegany Co., Maryland. BORDEN MINES - Charles C. Shriver, 71, of Borden Mines, died yesterday in Frostburg Community Hospital afler being admitted on July 23. Born in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Albert W. and Katherine (Eisel) Shriver. He was a former employe of Kaiser Refractories and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Frostburg Lodge 1273. Surviving are his widow, Evelyn ( McKenzie) Shriver; four sons, James Shriver, of Baltimore, Donald Shriver and John Shriver, Frostburg, and Darrrell Shriver, at home; one step-son, Walter Shriver of Frostburg; two daughters, Mrs. Judy Hughes and Mrs. Janice Winebrenner, both of Frostburg; and 16 grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home, where friends will be received today from 7 until 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 until 4 p.m. and 7 until 9 p.m. Services will be conducted in the Assembly of God Church Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Robert W. Collette officiating. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to services. The Cumberland Evening Times, August 16, 1976.
