Martha Adeline Kerr, 89, of Frostburg, passed away Friday, Dec, 9, 2016 at WMHS-Frostburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born Jan. 30, 1927, in Gilmore, Mrs. Kerr was the daughter of the late Charles Beeman and Martha (McKenzie) Beeman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph B. Kerr, Dec. 30, 1981; a sister, Mary E. (Beeman) Cannon; and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A homemaker, Martha was a graduate of Central High School and was a member of Divine Mercy Parish-St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Midland, where she was a member of the Sodality. Martha is survived by a son, Joseph B. Kerr Jr., and wife, Rebecca Weimer, Thurmont; two grandchildren, Jeff Kerr and wife, Christine, Waynesboro, Pa. and Deacon Steve Kerr and wife, Danielle, Lewistown; and five great-grandchildren, Zach, Ella, Michael, Emma, and Grace. She is also survived by her three nieces, Gilberta Drew and husband, Ernest, Gilmore, Mary Moyer and husband, Paul, Midland, and JoAnn Everett, Gilmore; as well as numerous great nieces and great nephews. A graveside service will be held at Saint Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Midland, at a later date. Adams Family Funeral Home, Cumberland, is in charge of arrangements. Charles Henry BEEMAN was born about 1903. He died on 4 Sep 1967 in Frostburg, Allegany Co., Maryland. MIDLAND — Charles H. Beeman, 64, died yesterday at Miners Hospital, Frostburg. He was a son of the late Andrew and Mary (Green) Beeman. His wife, Martha (McKenzie) Beeman, died last May. He was an employe of Dashiell Dairy and a member of the Teamsters Union. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dewey Shroyer, Salisbury, Pa. and Mrs. Joseph Kerr, Silver Spring; two sisters, Mrs. Tiny Clise, here, and Mrs. Charles Devault, here; two brothers, Clinton Beeman, here and Melvin Beeman, Frostburg; and four grandchildren. The body is at the Eichhorn Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Requiem mass will be celebrated tomorrow at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Midland – A requiem Mass for Leo McKenzie, 85, Gilmore, who died Tuesday at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, will be celebrated tomorrow at 9 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church here. Mr. McKenzie is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Charles Beeman, Gilmore; Mrs. Ben Shoemaker, and Mrs. Joseph Monroe, both of Washington, and three sons, Robert McKenzie, Gilmore, Joseph Mckenzie, Washington, and Bernard McKenzie, Berea, Ohio. Gilmore, Jan. 20 - Mrs. Eleanor (Thrasher) Blubaugh McKenzie, 76, wife of Leo McKenzie, this place, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Parks, 164 East Main street, Frostburg. She had been ill four weeks. The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Thrasher, she had been a resident of Gilmore for the past 14 years. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Midland. Both she and her present husband were married twice. Surviving besides her husband are four daughters, Mrs. John Fazenbaker, Gilmore; Mrs. Elizabeth Burkholder, Jenners, Pa.; Mrs. Ruth Clark, Ligonier, Pa.; Mrs. Mary Parks, Frostburg; six sons, Joseph A. Blubaugh, seaman second class with the Navy in Bermuda; Jacob Blubaugh and John F. Blubaugh, Gilmore; James A. Blubaugh, Loartown; Chester A. and Harry Blubaugh, both of Cresaptown. Also surviving are the following step-children: Mrs. Mattie Beeman, Gilmore; Mary and Agnes McKenzie, Washington, D. C.; Robert McKenzie, Gilmore; Joseph McKenzie, Frostburg; and Bernard McKenzie, Cleveland, O.; a brother, Enoch Thrasher, Midland; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Metcalf, Westernport; Mrs. Ruth Lancaster, Rawlings; 35 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Tuesday, April 16 - Mr. Isidor McKenzie died at his home near Avilton Saturday morning at 6 o’clock. The funeral took place this morning at 6 o’clock. Services were held in the St. Ann's Church at 9 o ’clock and interment was made in the St. Ann’s cemetery. Published in The Cumberland Alleganian, April 18, 1907
