George S. Ross – George S. Ross, 68, Frostburg, died Monday at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, where he was admitted Saturday. Born in Jennings, he was a son of the late J. Louis and Jenny Stewart Ross. Mr. Ross was a retired employee of the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1273, Frostburg; Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 271; and Kelly-Springfield Retirees Club. Surviving are his wife, Pauline McKenzie Ross; one daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Jean Dickel, Ravenna, Ohio; two sons, Donald J., Cumberland; George Dale, Herndon, Va.; four brothers, Clark Ross, Piedmont, W. Va.; Reid Ross, Malden, Mass.; Joseph Ross, Owasso, Okla.; Patrick Ross, Hagerstown, and 11 grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Michael’s Catholic Church with Msgr.
