Mrs. Iva P. Minnick, 81, of 61 LaVale Boulevard, was dead on arrival yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital. She had been in failing health for several years. Born in Frostburg, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Maude (Richards) Plummer. A retired school teacher with 45 years of service, she last taught at Beall Elementary School. She was a member of Frostburg United Methodist Church, Senior Citizens and Retired Teachers Association. Surviving are her husband, Wolford I. Minnick; two sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Holmes, Frostburg, and Mrs. Mary Brode, Martinsburg; a brother, Ralph Plummer, Martinsburg, and a number of nieces and nephews. Arrangements are by Durst Funeral Home. Interment in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Cumberland Evening Times, Wednesday, April 24, 1978
