MOUNT SAVAGE Arvada E. Winebrenner, 62, of Iron Rail Street, N.W., Mount Savage, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999, at Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D.C. Born April 29, 1937, in Mount Savage, she was the daughter of the late William "Darb" Winebrenner and Elnora Winebrenner. She also was preceded in death by one grandson, Eric Paul Biggs. Mrs. Winebrenner was a former employee at Arby's Restaurant and formerly worked at Uncle Lou's Tastee Freeze for 20 years. Mrs. Winebrenner was a member of the Mount Savage United Methodist Church. She was an avid Republican and served on the Republican Central Committee. Surviving are one daughter, Charlotte Jean Biggs, Piedmont, W.Va.; one granddaughter, Hannah Marie Biggs; four brothers, Bernard Winebrenner, Mount Savage, David Winebrenner, Eckhart, Roger Winebrenner, LaVale, and Clarence Winebrenner,
Sykesville; four sisters, Kathleen Gomer, Frostburg, Wanda Whitehead, Midlothian, Mary Margaret "Peggy" Ryan, Ridgeley, W.Va., and Patricia Winebrenner, Hagerstown; and two special friends, Beverly Nicely and Jamie Doonis. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard C. Broome Jr. officiating.
Interment will be in the Methodist Cemetery, Mount Savage. Memorials may be made to the family.
