Susanna Spriggs, 76, of Frostburg, formerly of Mount Savage, died Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, at Frostburg Village Nursing Care Center. Born June 23, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Susanna (Winebrenner) Trimble. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Spriggs; two sisters, Helen Preston and Carol J. Trimble; and one brother, Daniel F. Trimble. Susanna was a member of the Mount Savage United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Caroline Bittinger and husband, Brian; two grandchildren, Logan and Keirstin Bittinger. She is also survived by her sisters, Goldie Spiker of LaVale and Naomi Anderson and husband, Jerry, of Florida; and one brother, Earl Trimble and wife, Nancy, of Mount Savage; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation. Interment will be in Mount Savage United Methodist Cemetery.
