She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the quilting group. Before she was married, she was employed by the Phillip and Jones shirt factory in Meyersdale. Friends will be received at the Leckemby Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. She will be moved to the Zion Lutheran Church on Friday to lie in state from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of service, with Rev. Randy Marburger officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery. He was employed as manager of production and planning of the Aircraft and Armament Ind., of Baltimore, Md. Funeral services were conducted in the Lassahn Funeral Home.
