Beal, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Neimiller, here: two brothers, Charles Burley, McKeesport, and Chaney Burley, Cumberland, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Karl Valentine, and Mrs. James Rubright, here. The body will be at the Price Funeral Home, where friends will be received after 2 p.m. tomorrow. There will be no viewing. A service will be conducted there Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. David Fetter officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery.

Born Oct. 21, 1920, in Meyersdale, Pa., he was the son of the late Harry A. and Mary (Albright) Burley. He was preceded in death by one son. Mr. Burley was a retired conductor for the B&O Railroad. He was a member of Living Stone Church of the Brethren. An Army veteran of World War II, he received the Silver Star and was a member of Henry Hart Post 1411 VFW and Fort Cumberland Post 13 American Legion. Surviving are his widow, Stella M. (Mikrut) Burley; one son, Ronald F. Burley, Winchester, Va.; one daughter, JoAnna M. Burley, Cumberland, one brother, Charles W. Burley, White Oak, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Rubright and Mrs. Stella Valentine, both of Meyersdale; and one grandson. The body was cremated. A memorial service will be conducted Monday at 7 p.m. at the Living Stone Church of the Brethren by the Rev. Vernon D. Mitchell. Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to the charity of the donor’s choice. The Scarpelli Funeral Home, Virginia Avenue, is in charge of arrangements. State Police said Shuck was traveling northbound on the Garrett Shortcut (legislative route 55031) when he lost control of the car and it hit a tree on the east berm. The accident occurred in Brother's Valley Township at 5:45 a.m. Berlin ambulance and rescue squad responded. Born in Meyersdale April 17, 1963, Mr. Shuck was the son of Frances (Durst) Shuck, RD 1, Meyersdale, and the late Harry George Shuck. Mr. Shuck was employed by the Somerset Country Club and served as assistant scoutmaster of Meyersdale Boy Scout Troop 142.
