    Mrs. Clara Matilda Murray, 68, of 210 Main Street, Ridgeley, died this morning at home after an illness of eight months. A native of Mt. Savage, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Catherine (Porter) Schell. Her husband, William H. Murray, died December 11, 1942. Mrs. Murray was a member of Ridgeley Methodist church and of the Ladies' Bible Class and the Ladies' Aid Society of the church. She was also a member of Lodge No. 141, Dames of Malta. She resided in Ridgeley for the past 35 years. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Othalia Hendley, Cumberland; Mrs. Mary Hamilton, Mt. Savage; Mrs. Grace Colloff, Mt. Savage; William T. Murray, Short Gap, W. Va.; and Mrs. Beatrice Harvey, Cincinnati, O. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Katherine Martin, Youngstown, O.; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.     Services will be held tomorrow at 2 p. m. in Calvary Methodist Church, Ridgeley, W. Va., for Mrs. Clara Matilda Murray, 68, who died yesterday morning at her home, 210 Main street, Ridgeley.     Notes:

    Based on information on the census in 1910 and 1920, she was born in 1891, even though her obituary suggests that she was born in 1889.

    Mrs. Othalia A. Hendley, 77, of 513 Patterson Avenue, died yesterday in Memorial Hospital where she had been admitted Sunday. She had been in failing health for a year. Mrs. Hendley was born in Eckhart, a daughter of the late William H. and Clara M. (Schell) Murray. Her husband Noah Hendley died in 1935. She was formerly employed as a practical nurse at the Allegany County Infirmary. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Kline, RD 1, Ridgeley, and Mrs. Robert W. Ritter, with whom she resided; one sister, Mrs. Max Harvey, Cincinnati; a brother, William T. Murray, Cumberland, andfour grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The body is at the George Funeral Home where friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. A service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Owen Osborne, pastor of Centre Street Methodist Church, of which she was a member. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

    MT. SAVAGE - Mrs. Mary Catherine Rice, 53, wife of Edward Rice of Sunny Side, died this morning in Allegany County Infirmary. She was the daughter of William and Clara (Schell) Murray. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters by a former marriage, Mrs. Andrew Santore, Baltimore Pike, and Mrs. Thomas Linn, Sunny Side; 14 grandchildren, one brother, William Murray, Cumberland; and three sisters, Mrs. Othalia Hendley, Springfield, W. Va.; Mrs. Alex Colloft, Sanger, Calif.; and Mrs. Max Harvey, Cincinnati. The body is at the Hafer Funeral Home where services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. by Rev. B. F. Hartman, pastor of the Cumberland Methodist Circuit.

    William T. Murray, 72, of 709 Gephart Drive, died yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital, where he had been admitted July 9. Born in Wellersburg, he was a son of the late William H. and Clara (Schell) Murray. A retired Western Maryland Railway employe, he was a member of Fort Cumberland Lodge 403, Brotherhood of Steamship, Airline and Railway Clerks, the United Methodist Church, and FOP Lodge 90. Surviving are his widow, Gertrude R. (Wright) Murray; two daughters, Mrs. Karen L. Millner, Limestone, Me.; Mrs. Sharon L. Kelley, Biloxi, Miss.; a sister, Mrs. Beatrice Lillie, Cincinnati, Ohio, and two grandchildren. The body is at the George Funeral Home, where friends will be received from 7 until 9 p.m. today and from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. tomorrow. A service will be conducted there Monday at 11 a.m. Rev. Harold R. McClay Jr., and Rev. Oscar Ohler will officiate. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Linn; sister, Judy Linn; niece, Wanda Crabtree; brothers, Thomas "Pee Wee" Linn and Nicky Linn; brothers-in-law, Ronald Tharp, Rick Boner, and Nick Gallen; and nephew, Jeff Gallen. Ronnie retired from the Operating Engineers Local 37. He was a lifetime member of the Cumberland Outdoor Club, former president of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Loyal Order of Moose and Goodfellowship Club. Ronnie is survived by his sons, Ronald A. Linn Jr. and fiancé, Janet Lee Scadden, and Nicky Linn; grandchildren, Amanda Linn, Veronica Linn and Christopher Linn; great-grandson, Bryce Shepherd; sisters and brothers, Doll Gallen, Sharon Tharp, Sheila Boner, Linda Linn, Vicky Wilson and husband, Jim; sisters-in-law, Kathy Linn and Leona Linn, Dave Linn and wife, Nina, and Terry Linn and wife, Kim; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Judy Ann Linn; a sister-in-law: Bonnie Linn; two brothers-in-law, Ronald Tharp and Rick Boner and a nephew, Jeffrey Allen Gallen. Nicky was a life member and bartender and was an active president of the Cumberland Outdoor Club. He was also a life member of the Good Fellowship Club and a member of the Piney Mountain Sportsman Club. He enjoyed camping, fishing, riding his motorcycle and four-wheelers. Nicky is survived by his wife of 27 years: Kathryn Ann (Sines) Linn; and his children: Kelsie Nicole Linn and fiancé, Tyler Greise; and Zachary Allen Linn and girlfriend, Brice Blankenship.
