    "MRS. LANUM 2ND VICTIM OF GAS FUMES"

    "Mrs. Sarah Katherine Lanum, 24, overcome by carbon monoxide fumes in her home late Friday or early Saturday, died at 6:05 a.m. today in St. Mary's Hospital."

    "Mrs. Lanum's husband, Richard D., 22, was found dead Saturday in their home at 1001 N. 33rd St. Their daughter, Teresa Michelle, two weeks old, is reported in good condition at the hospital."

    "Tests conducted by a pathologist showed that Mr. Lanum's death Friday night or Saturday was caused by carbon monoxide fumes from a wall heater in the home."

    "Mrs. Lanum had been in critical condition since she was taken to the hospital Saturday morning."

    "Mr. Lanum's body was found by neighbors who had been called by his mother after she had failed to reach the family by telephone. His body was in the room with the heater. Mrs. Lanum and the baby were in another room."
