  Notes	CORRIGANVILLE — Shelley A. DeHaven, 53, of Corriganville, passed away Friday, Dec. 27, 2019, at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Born April 7, 1966, in Cumberland, to James and Cherie (McKenzie) DeHaven Sr. Shelley was a member of Mount Savage United Methodist Church, and was an insurance agent with Knippenburg Insurance Agency. Shelley was a selfless, family oriented, and hard-working woman. She enjoyed spending quality time at the family cabin and dipping her toes in the sand on yearly beach trips. Shelley was head strong and remained positive throughout her battle. She will be dearly missed by everyone. Her pain has been taken away and we have gained a beautiful guardian angel. Surviving are her parents, James and Cherie DeHaven Sr. of Corriganville; fiancée, Kim Emerick, Corriganville; two daughters, Jordan Rhoads of Corriganville and Madison Rhoads and boyfriend, Jarred Wilson, of Gilmore; son, Haden DeHaven and girlfriend, Alicen Steele, of Corriganville; two brothers, James DeHaven Jr. and fiancée, Cassie, of Cumberland and Scott DeHaven, of Corriganville; one sister, Shannon DeHaven, of Corriganville; nieces and nephews; Kylye DeHaven, Gavin DeHaven, Jasmine Clark, Katye DeHaven, Gia DeHaven, and Cleo Walsh; and former husband, Pete Rhoads. Shelley was cremated in accordance with her wishes. Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Friday, Jan. 3, 2020, from 9 to 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Sandra Burchel officiating. A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held at the Barrelville Outdoor Club following the funeral. The family request donations be made to 'Shelley Strong.'
