- Steven Henry “Alf” Hahn, 42, of Meyersdale, passed on May 12, 2015 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born May 5, 1973 in Meyersdale, he is a son of the late James Hahn. He is survived by his mother Mary Katherine (Werner) Hahn of Meyersdale; brother Jeffrey Hahn and wife Gwen of Meyersdale; nephew Kurt Hahn and fiance Meaghan Hainzer; and numerous extended family members. Alf was a 1991 graduate of Meyersdale High School. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 112, the Kennells Mills Sportsman Club, and the Amity United Church of Christ. He was an avid football and NASCAR fan, and a member of the Swampcreek Racing Team. He spent countless hours on his computer. Alf was a full organ donor, his parting gift to his fellow man. There will be no viewing or visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be sent to The Somerset Oncology Center at 314 S.
