- Donna Lou Durst, 59, of Grantsville, died Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at Oakland Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Oakland. Born Sept. 16, 1958, in Meyersdale, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John Donald and Leora Althea (Wilt) Bittinger. Donna was a clerk in retail. She is survived by one son, Gary Lynn (Sandra) Durst, Frostburg; two daughters, Betty Jo Merrill and Kimberly Sue Durst, both of Grantsville; two brothers, Ronald Lee Bittinger, Lawrenceville, Va., Roger Lynn Bittinger, Accident; four grandchildren, Lincoln Bradley Durst, Garrett Alan Merrill, Adreanna Dawn Merrill and Colton Wayne Durst. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2 p.m. with Pastor David Price officiating.
