- Delores Crowe Sullivan, 55, of Kitty Hawk, NC passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. Born May 27, 1960 in Frostburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late Harold L. Crowe and Lillian Baker Crowe. Delores was a 1978 graduate of Beall High School in Frostburg, MD. After graduation, she worked locally with Cozy Kitchens and Wink’s Market. She enjoyed riding motorcycles in the mountains and taking the Harley on cross country trips with the love of her life, Andy. Delores was a fan of Bruce Springsteen, reading in the afternoon sun, visiting her birthplace, a variety of sports and putting together puzzles. Known for her great sense of humor, Delores was a beloved and devoted friend to many. Delores is survived by her husband of 30 years, Andrew Sullivan; brothers, Donald Crowe and wife, Shirley of Chester, MD and Dennis Crowe, Sr. and wife, Peggy of Frostburg, MD; a sister, Linda Messmer of Glen Burnie, MD; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Delores was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne L. Crowe. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Twiford Funeral Home, Colony Chapel in Manteo, NC with Rev. Elizabeth Tyson officiating.
