    • David E. “Rabbit” Miller, 62, of Friedens, passed on November 17, 2017 at Somerset Hospital. Born February 9, 1955 in Somerset, he is a son of the late Paul and Shirley (Kendall) Miller. He is also preceded in death by his brother Gregory Allen Miller. Rabbit is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kimberly (Holt) Miller; daughters DeAnn McCoy and husband Bradley of Somerset and Angela Supranowicz and husband Stanley Jr. of Friedens; grandchildren Andrew and Daniel Gilley, and Elise and Alexander McCoy; brother Paul B. Miller Jr. and wife Gayle of Friedens; sister Phyllis Conner and husband Danny of Rockwood; and numerous nieces and nephews. Rabbit was a longtime farmer in the Friedens area. He was an avid hunter, and a member of the Jenner Rod and Gun Club. He was known to help anyone in need throughout his life. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, as well as his German Shepherd “Wolfie”. Friends will be received from 2-6 PM Tuesday with a service to follow directly at 6 PM at Miller Funeral Home and Crematory, Somerset, Reverend Larry Weigle and Jerry Miller officiating.
