    • SYKESVILLE - Gary Jose Browning, 44, of 5838 Oklahoma Road, Sykesville, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2001, at Carroll County Hospital, Westminster. Born in Baltimore, on March 4, 1956, he was the son of James Browning of Westminster, and the late Freda (Wilt) Browning. Mr. Browning was a Department Manager for Giant supermarket, and was an avid hunter. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association. Surviving in addition to his father, are a sister, Kim Lucinda Benge of Fruitland; and two brothers, Terry James Browning of Sykesville, and Tim Wayne Browning of Fillmore, Calif. The family received friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dallas Bunch officiating. Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport. Cumberland Times-News obituary
