- Frostburg, MD., Sept. 3 - The funeral of Miss Pearl Winebrenner, aged 18, who died Sunday at Miners Hospital, following an operation for appendicitis, was held yesterday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. The young woman is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Owen [sic, John Olin] Winebrenner and the following brothers and sisters, Bertha, Rheta, Flossie, John and Albert Winebrenner, all of this city.
