- Frostburg - Carl Griffiths, 26, son of Thomas Griffiths, 44 Mechanic Street, died yesterday in Memorial Hospital. He had been a patient for the past 15 days. He was an employe of the Amcelle Plant of the Celanese Corporation, a member of Local 1874, TWUA, drum major for the Farrady Post 24, American Legion, Drum and Bugle Corps, and a member of the Methodist Church. Besides his father, he is survived by a brother, John Griffiths, Cumberland; three sisters, Mrs. Virginia Knotts, Finzel, and Mrs. Leona Durr and Mrs. Gladys Stanton, both of Frostburg. Services will be conducted Friday at 2:30 p. m., at Mt. Zion Methodist Church, with Rev. Edward A. Godsey, pastor, and Rev. B. B. Ludwick, Brethren Church minister, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be William Youngerman, Paul Stewart, William Muir, William McCulIough, James Adams and Francis Rafferty, all members of Farrady Post 24.
