- FROSTBURG — Edith A. Kitzmiller, 85, of Frostburg, went to be with the Lord and Savior on Friday, March 5, 2010. She was born on Nov. 14, 1924, in Avilton. She was the daughter of the late Alfonszo and Rella (Lancaster) Crowe. She was also preceded in death by two husbands, Ellsworth “Bud” Franklin Kitzmiller and Lawrence J. Minnick; a daughter, Susan Marlene Broadwater; and a great-grandson, Leland Stevey. Mrs. Kitzmiller was a homemaker and a member of Frostburg Assembly of God Church. She is survived by two sons, Tony Minnick, of Midlothian, and Floyd Kitzmiller, of Cumberland; four daughters, Bonnita Crowe, of Frostburg, Patricia Jane Matthews and Regina Kitzmiller, of Midland, and Elizabeth “Betty” Enos, of Eckhart; one sister, Geraldine “Jerri” Crowe, of Arnold; two brothers, Clarence Crowe and wife Jackie, of Marianna, Pa., and Ronald Crowe, of Prince Frederick; 22 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. At Mrs. Kitzmiller’s request, her body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010, in the Sowers Funeral Home, P.A. at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ervin W. Mason officiating. Inurnment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park. March 6, 2010, Cumberland Times-News
