- John Crowe, aged 66, who Saturday evening was struck by an automobile while walking along the highway near the Lonaconing Athletic Park, died early yesterday morning as a result of the injuries sustained. He has been a life long resident of this city. He is survived by one daughter, Miss Mabel Crowe. The funeral will take place Saturday afternoon at p.. in. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. The Rev. U. S. Wright will conduct the services. The Cumberland Evening Times, August 10, 1923
