  Notes	Funeral services for Daniel Webster Crowe were conducted from the New Germany Methodist Church at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 28. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery under the direction of William Winterberg, local mortician. Mr. Crowe died at his home at New Germany about 7 o'clock Saturday evening, Jan. 25, after an illness of about ten days. He was one of the substantial citizens of the community and was well known throughout this section. His entire life was spent in the New Germany community where he was born. Assisted by his son, Stanley Crowe, he successfully operated a large farm near here. Surviving besides his wife, Ada Crowe, and their son, are two brothers, Robert Crowe and Stewart Crowe, and three grandchildren, all of New Germany. Mr. Crowe had been a faithful and devout member of the New Germany Methodist Church for many years. Meyersdale Republican, January 30, 1941 He was buried on 28 Jan 1941 in New Germany Methodist Cemetery, New Germany, Garrett Co., Maryland. Grantsville, Md. Jan. 28 - Funeral services for Daniel Webster Crowe, 75, farmer, were conducted this afternoon from the New Germany Methodist Church, of which he was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery. He was a son of the late Henry and Harriett (Durst) Crowe. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ada (McIntyre) Crowe; a son, Stanley Crowe, and two brothers, Robert and Stewart Crowe, New Germany. The Cumberland Evening Times, January 28, 1941 Daniel Webster CROWE and Ada Jane MCINTYRE were married.
