- Erna P. Glessner, 77, of 300 Vine St., Berlin, died July 13, 1986, at Meyersdale Community Hospital. She was Born Jan. 23, 1909, in Germany, daughter of the late Herbert and Mary (Von Alts) Paulson. Survived by her husband, Frank S.; a daughter, Mrs. Fred (Clara) Gardner of Bedford; two grandchildren, Kenneth Gardner, Brookston, Ind.; and Julie Christopher, Butler, Ohio; and seven great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Mary L. Paulson of Richmond, Va.; and Walter Paulson of Johnstown. She was a member of the Business and Professional Womens' Club of Somerset and a long time member of the Somerset American Legion Auxiliary, and a former co-owner of the Ship Hotel. Friends will be received Tuesday at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin, where services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Father Samuel J. Tomaselli officiating.
