- BUFFALO MILLS, Pa. ‹ Robert Edward Minnick, 66, of Rankers Lane, Buffalo Mills, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 1999 at Washington Medical Center, Washington, D.C. Born Feb. 15, 1933 in Hyndman, he was a son of the late Raymond E. and Myrtle M. (Smeak) Minnick. He also was preceded in death by three brothers; Jack, Sam and Jim Minnick; and one sister, Grace Minnick. Mr. Minnick is survived by his wife, Katinka "Kitty"Minnick, of Buffalo Mills; one son, Michael E. Minnick and wife Brenda, of Hyndman; one daughter, Bobbie L. Browne and husband Brad, of Ashland, Ohio; one brother, Reggie K. Minnick, of Phillippi, W.Va.; four step-children; eight grandchildren; eight step-grandchilren and one very special aunt, Geraldine Kennell and Uncle Buck. Mr. Minnick, a glass cutter for P.P.G., Inc., served in the Army Military Police, and was a member of the Bedford American Legion, Hyndman Rod and Gun Club and AARP. Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Hyndman Cemetery.
