(Hosselrode) Lowery, 81 of Singer Island, went to be with the Lord, Monday, Dec. 8, 2008, at Jupiter Medical Center, Jupiter, Fla. Born July 14, 1927 in Frostburg, Md., she was a daughter of the late of Harry R. Hosselrode and Mary (Smith) Hosselrode Mason. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Floyd E. (Duffy) Mason; her husband, Kenneth L. Lowery in 1986; and a brother, LeRoy H. Hosselrode. She is survived by an aunt, Marie Smith of Wellersburg; brothers-in-law, Denny Lowery of Bedford and Daryl Lowery of Woodbridge, Va.; a sister-in-law, Marlene Mc-Gough of Johnstown; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Delores was a customer service representative with Eastern Airlines from 1952 until she retired in 1988. She was a member of the Cooks Mills United Methodist Church, Hyndman, Pa. A graveside service will be held at Cooks Mills Cemetery, Hyndman, on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. with the Rev. J.R. Virgin officiating. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to WMHS Regional Cancer Center, 900 Seton Dr., Suite 102, Cumberland, MD 21502. The Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., Hyndman, is charge of arrangements.
