Kenneth L. Lowery, 60, of Filmore Avenue, Alexandria, Va., formerly of Hyndman RD 1, died July 2, 1986 at Fairfax Hospital, Fairfax, Va. He was born April 9, 1926, in Ellerslie Md., the son of Mrs. Armenta (Stair) Lowery, of Hyndman, and the late Alvin E. Lowery. A Navy veteran of World War II who served in Africa and the Mediterranean, Mr. Lowery was a member of Cook's Mills United Methodist Church. He was employed as control center Manager of Eastern Airlines at National Airport, Washington, D.C. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Dolores (Hasselrode) Lowery; two brothers: Darrell Lowery, Woodbridge, Va.; Dennis Lowery, Hyndman; and one sister, Mrs. Marlene McGough, Johnstown. Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home where services were conducted at the funeral home July 5 at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Loyal Kelso. Interment will be in the Cook's Mills Cemetery.
