- Tuesday, August 17, 2004 - Cumberland Times-News - FROSTBURG - Eleanor (Martens) Thomas Beaver, 72, of Wilmington, Del., formerly of Frostburg, died in Wilmington, on July 26, 2004, in the Christiana Hospital. Eleanor was the daughter of the late Walter and Emma (Tressler) Martens and was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Beaver; two sisters, Hazel Martens and Emma Walker; and three brothers, Franklin, Robert and Elmer Martens. Eleanor is survived by a daughter and four sons; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother; two sisters; and her first husband, Clarence Thompson. Funeral services were held on Friday, July 30, at the Gebhart Funeral Home, Claymont, Del., and interment was in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, Del.
She was buried on 30 Jul 2004 in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, New Castle Co., Delaw
