Emma was the daughter of the late Walter and Emma (Tressler) Martens and was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Walker; a sister, Hazel Martens; and three brothers, Franklin, Robert and Elmer Martens. Emma is survived by a daughter; and two sons; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother; and three sisters. Funeral services were held on Friday, March 12, at the First Presbyterian Church in Las Cruces, N.M., and interment was in Fort Bliss National Cemetery, Texas.
