- Jan. 29 — The funeral of Hazel A. Martens, 10 years old, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Martens, 93 Washington street, who died at the Miners Hospital, Sunday, was held yesterday afternoon from the home. Rev. John W. Keener, pastor of Salem Reformed Church, officiated. Burial was in the Allegany Cemetery. The pallbearers were George Walker, George Truly, Albert Murphy, Chas. Edwards, Nevin Bittner, Carl Fresh. Flower bearers: Hilda Harbell, Amelia Jean Brode, Lydia Carter and Ruth Keefer.
