    • FROSTBURG — David F. Winebrenner, 67, of Frostburg, passed away Monday, May 27, 2013, at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. He was born Sept. 2, 1945, in Mount Savage, to William Joseph “Darb” Winebrenner and Eleanor (Winebrenner) Winebrenner. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Arvada Winebrenner and two brothers, Bernard Joseph Winebrenner and Roger Winebrenner. Mr. Winebrenner was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church and retired from Mount Savage Refractories as a Press Operator. He is a lifetime member of Piney Mountain Sports Association. “Dad enjoyed hunting, spending time with his brother and sisters and making family memories. He was a great husband to my mom for 43 years. I know he is in heaven now and he is one of their special angels, as he was here on earth. Thanks Dad for being good to me,” David W. Winebrenner. Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Nancy (Martin) Winebrenner; son, David W. Winebrenner and wife Dena L., of Frostburg; two grandchildren, Joseph A. McKenzie Jr. and wife Kayla, of Klamath Falls, Ore. and Crystalynn R. Judkins and husband Jared, of Klamath Falls; six great-grandchildren, Adin, Dillan, Kristian, Joey III, Emma and Arlie; four sisters, Kathleen Gomer and husband Leroy, of Frostburg, Wanda Whitehead, of Midlothian, Mary Ryan and husband Raymond, of LaVale and Patricia Winebrenner, of Hagerstown; a brother, Clarence Winebrenner, of Sykesville; four special brothers-in-law, Butch, Jimmy, Johnny and Joe Martin, whom he helped raise; two sisters-in-law, Sharon Winebrenner, of Mount Savage and Linda Winebrenner, of LaVale and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Thursday, May 30, 2013, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Michaels Catholic Church, Frostburg, on Friday, May 31, 2013, at 11 a.m. with Father Ed Hendricks as celebrant. Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jim Martin, John Martin, Jimmy Winebrenner, Dennis Shipe, John King and Anthony “Tony” Butler.
