He is a retired employee of the Celanese Corporation. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Anna Mary (Shoemake) Witt; one daughter, Shelby Lough, Potomac Park, Md.; two stepsons, George Peterbrink, Frostburg, Md.; and Raymond Peterbrink, Angleton, Texas; one half-brother, Ralph Witt, Eckhart, Md.; one half-sister, Mrs. Inez Sollenberger, Chambersburg; two grandsons and six stepgrandsons. Friends were received at the Sowers Funeral Home, Frostburg, Md. where services were conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Kenneth Humbert. Interment, Frostburg Memorial Park.
