  Notes	Mrs. Helen Jane (Smeak) Conner, 50, of 224V4 North Mechanic Street, died Sunday at Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient one day. Born July 26, 1920, in Duquesne, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Harry Smeak and Lilly (Poorbaugh) Smeak. Her husband, Vonder J. Conner, preceded her in death. Surviving are a daughter, Bonnie Lee Halcomb, Long Beach, Calif.; two brothers, Reggie Smeak, Hyndman, Russell Smeak, Augusta, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. Raymond Minnick, Hyndman; Mrs. James Stanley, Mt. Morris, Mich.; and two grandchildren. The body is at the Ziegler Funeral Home, Hyndman, where friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted there tomorrow at 2 p. m. by Rev. John Weaver.
