- Mabel Irene Imler, 25, wife of Alfred Imler, Hyndman, Pa., died Saturday night at Allegany Hospital where she was admitted Nov. 30. A native of Hyndman, she was the daughter of Harry Smeak and the late Lillian Poorbaugh Smeak. Surviving are the father, husband, three children, Irma Louise, Howard Thomas, and Nancy LaVerne, at home; three brothers, Ralph Smeak, Potomac Park; Reginald (Reggie) Smeak, Everett, Pa.; Russell, at home; and three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Minnick, Miss Helen Smeak and Mrs. Susie (George) Cook, all of Hyndman. She was a member of the Reformed Church at Hyndman and the pastor, Rev. G. Raymond Winters, will conduct the funeral service tomorrow afternoon. The Cumberland Evening Times, December 4, 1939
