  Notes	Jeffrey Wayne McKenzie, 54, of Gassaway, WV passed away at his home Tuesday, January 22, 2013 due to complications of the flu. Jeff was a loving husband, devoted father, caring son and sibling, and a kind-hearted friend. Jeff was born November 13, 1958 in Oakland, MD. He was a 1976 graduate of Linganore High in Frederick, MD.He then served in the U.S. Navy, where he was honorably discharged. While working at Airflow Co., Jeff graduated from Lincoln Tech with his H.V.A.C. degree in 1980. That same year Jeff began in a lifelong career at AT&T in Charleston, WV as a building technician.He also became a union member of Communication Workers of America where he served as Union Stewart. In 1988 Jeff married his wife of 24 years, Susan Harper McKenzie. They were blessed with two daughters, Stephanie and Tammy. In addition to being a wonderful family man, Jeff was very active in his community. He served as treasurer for the Chapel Volunteer Fire Department, president for the Braxton County Gun Owner's Club, and coach for the 4-H AirRifle Team. Jeff is survived by his wife,Susan McKenzie; daughters, Stephanie Moore and her husband, Charles Moore and Tammy Miller and her husband, Jacob Miller; mother Ellie Davis and step-father, Tom Davis; father, Rodney McKenzie and step-mother, Bonnie McKenzie; sisters, Sue Crum and her husband, Wayne Crum and Jackie Weakley and her husband, Charley Weakley; as well as 37 nieces and nephews who all adored him. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Howard and Vera McKenzie and Steven and Evelyn DeWitt; and nephew, Daniel McKenzie Wright. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Little Birch Community Church with Pastor Tom Harper officiating. Burial will be in the Little Birch Community Church Cemetery.
