He is survived by his sister, Martha Samis of Bon Accord, Alberta; brothers, Hugh of Nanaimo, British Columbia, Clyde of Westlock, Alberta; sons, Brian Ford of Tomahawk, Alberta and Jerry McKenzie of Edmonton, Alberta; daughters, Dixie Kohlruss of Bon Accord, Alberta, Anna McKenzie and Joyce McKenzie, both of Edmonton, Alberta; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by three brothers, one sister, his first wife Martha Koelke in 1949, his second wife Edna Jenkins in 1995 and one grandchild in 1982. Interment will be in Bon Accord Cemetery
