  Notes	FROSTBURG - Bella Mae Engle, 104, of Frostburg, died Sunday, May 13, 2007 at the Frostburg Village Nursing Care Center. Born Oct. 28, 1902 in Eckhart, she was the daughter of the late John Holsinger and Jean (Stark) Holsinger. Mrs. Engle was also preceded in death by her husband, Vincent J. Engle; two sisters, Anna McGinn and Jean Holsinger; four brothers, David, John, Jim, and William Holsinger. Mrs. Engle was a homemaker. She was a member of Eckhart United Methodist Church, the Friendly Bible Class, and the United Methodist Women. Surviving are one daughter, Hattie Jean Brode, and husband, Philip "Bill", of Hoffman; one grandson, Philip Brode, of Cincinnati, Ohio; one granddaughter, Tammy Bradley, and husband, Kim, of Lakewood, W.Va.; one step-great-granddaughter, Jamie Hill, and husband, Jason, of Ridgeley, W.Va.; two step great-great-grandchildren, Alex and Gracie Hill, of Ridgeley; a number of nieces and nephews; and many devoted and good neighbors and friends. The family would like to thank all the caregivers at the Frostburg Village Nursing Care Center for the special care Bella Mae received, especially from Shirley Watkins, Louis and Janis Llewellyn, John Engle and Tessie Graves. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. George M. Harpold officiating assisted by Rev. Louis Emerick. Interment will be in the Porter Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Louis Llewellyn, Harold Skidmore, William Koppel, Craig Elmer, John Seifarth and Charles Bond. Honorary pallbearers will be John Engle, Harold Holsinger, Harvey McKenzie, William Porter and William Kirkhoff. The family requests that memorials be directed to Eckhart United Methodist Church.
